Days Three, Four and Five
Well, we did see POTC 2, and I really want to see it again. We hung around Charlotte's for a while and headed up to Gary's cabin in Lincoln, which is really cool. There's a creek not far from the door that's so cold, it aches :D
Yesterday we went on the Gates of the Mountain tour after going to the farmers market in Helena. The tour was really cool and beautiful, but it was soooo hot. The guy talking about all the wildlife and Lewis and Clark had this really gravelly voice that would have been a titch more fun to listen to if he had used more than one set of inflection. I was sort of more interested in looking around at the cool things he pointed out and his little stories of people who lived around there than Lewis and Clark stuff. After about four or five years learning about them from some of the dullest teachers ever, it now bores me. It was sort of cool to see where they had actually been, though, instead of hearing about it from Mrs. Lukesh.
Today, so far, we have picked huckleberries in the mountains. We got a decent amount, and I -think- we're going to put them over ice cream. I'm going to head off now, as I'm just waiting for our "breakfast."
Goals:
1: Still looking for that chocolate covered huckleberry patch.
2: I think Benni Hana's is a lost cause. (-cries-)
3: Continue to learn little bits of songs on an ocarina Nora found at her house.
4: When we get back home, check out Ron's Music for an ocarina. I shall learn to play all the Zelda OOT songs if I have to buy them all online.
