Writing is fun:)
Hello again to the number of people who read my blog that I could count on one hand!
I've been working my tail off on a book idea that I got and I love. I have absolutely NO idea what to name it. I'm not going to tell you much about it, except that it's a fantasy novel about an elf named Maetrael, who has many conflicts, be it with her father, the human king, her dragon, the human king's servants (the cazons, and if YOU have a better name for them, please let me know!), or with her entire race. I'm only on chapter nine (I'm expecting to go up into the twenties in chapter numbers), but if anyone knows a publisher...
The reason I won't tell you much about it is that someone I know of, not naming anyone, took an idea of one of my friends. She had a different, great idea for a story, and someone else wrote a story with the same basis to it, just tweaked here and there to make it sound original(ish). It still sounds like my friend's story.
Anyway, I really like my idea for my story. It just popped into my head a few weeks back as I was just about to fall asleep. The loss of a half-hours' sleep to type out the outline was worth it. I have to go. Mum and I are going to watch "Alias".
